Congratulations, Dr. Jennifer Adair and Dr. Justin Taylor!

Dr. Jennifer Adair,  Associate Professor, and Dr. Justin Taylor, Associate Professor, both of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, were awarded two new NIH R01 grants: “In vivo CRISPR engineering of B cells to produce anti-HIV broadly neutralizing antibodies using novel nanoparticles” and “Targeted genetic engineering of B cells to induce protective antibody responses to viral pathogens.”……

Congratulations, Natalie Thulin – F31 Award Recipient!

Natalie is a graduate student in the Hamerman lab. She was awarded an F31 Award to investigate signals that contribute to disease development and inflammatory macrophage differentiation in a model of the autoimmune disease Macrophage Activation Syndrome. She hopes that understanding the development and function of inflammatory macrophages, as well as their contribution to disease……

Congratulations, Margaret McDaniel – 2022 HHMI Hanna Grey Fellow!

Margaret is a postdoc in the Moltke lab – she earned her PhD from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Her work focuses on how allergens and parasitic worms are sensed in the lungs and intestines. By understanding the mechanisms by which these insults are sensed by different tissues, she hopes to uncover……
